Community Behavioral Health: There's an App for that!

This webinar will discuss incorporating mobile apps as an additional low-cost tool to address community behavioral health concerns. We will present the potential unique benefits of using behavioral health apps, provide tips for picking the appropriate app to address community issues, and examine six examples of tried-and-tested apps dealing with substance abuse and addition, depression, bi-polar disorders, post-traumatic stress, and domestic violence.
Courtney Cuthbertson, Courtney is the post-doctoral fellow for the CAPE Project. She completed her PhD in Sociology in 2014 from the University of Illinois.
Jessica Tess, Jesica is the Communications and Social Media Specialist for CAPE. She is finishing her MA in Critical Studies in Literacy and Pedagogy in the Writing, Rhetoric, and American Cultures Department at Michigan State University.
