Poor Mental Health Days: New Evidence for Risk Factors
Date: March 15, 2016
About the webinar:
An individual's mental health is shaped by a complex array of factors: individual, family, community, and environment. This webinar starts by exploring the geographic variation in self-reported poor mental health days on the Behavioral Risk Factor Surveillance Survey. We then present results of the a statistical analysis examining risk factors for poor mental health. While some traditional factors are confirmed, we also find surprising results related to community conditions and obesity.
